Streambox Avenir Mini is a finalist in the Streaming Media Readers’ Choice Awards. Streambox finished in the top three vote recipients of the Cellular Bonding Solution category for Streambox Avenir Mini family of products. The Avenir Mini II has just been released with a new chassis, lower power consumption, and a new one-step plug-in to the Signal Extender for an additional eight wireless cellular modems and amplifiers. The winners of the Readers’ Choice Awards will be announced at Streaming Media West later this month.

Streambox Avenir Mini is a small HD/SD mobile broadcasting and streaming video encoder with integrated network bonding. Avenir Mini has the ability to bond all available networks including: 3G/4G, Wi-Fi, Internet and Ethernet for transmitting low latency high quality video for reliable video streaming, file recording and uploading. This device is a small form factor encoder that is camera, side or backpack mountable. Designed for the most demanding video professionals in: broadcasting, streaming, security, medicine, enterprise, education, industry, government and military applications.

The Avenir Mini is the smallest Streambox hardware-based mobile encoder. It provides SDI and HDMI inputs with integrated networking and SSD storage for files. The networking options include: four 3G/4G/LTE embedded modems, 8-Pin connection to Streambox Signal Extender for bonding three additional 4G/LTE modems, specialized integrated antennas for improved signal gain, two additional USB ports for modems, two Wi-Fi modems and one Ethernet port offering array of connectivity options. It all weighs only 3 pound/1.3 kg, and measures 4.4 inches wide, 1.9 inches tall, and 7 inches long.
